I was only lucky enough that I was born with high metabolism and I don't often crave for food that causes weight gain. As a result I was often considered "slim".
After 20 years of living in the US , I finally came to admire the beauty of muscles and realize weight is NOT everything. Since the start of the pandemic, group fitness classes at the gym were no longer available so I decided to workout at home by doing the things that I used to hate and dread: push-ups, burpees, squats, and so on. It was quite challenging to start with, but today most of them feel easy and enjoyable! Maybe I don't look that different from other people's eyes, but I feel a whole new self!
